The Sub District Hospital Ramnagar situated in the hilly terrain of Trikuta Hills is one of the oldest and reputed Hospital established in 1960 as P.H.C. and was further upgraded as SDH in 1987. It is located in Udhampur District, Jammu and Kashmir at a distance of about 38 km from Udhampur, set to caters around 1,70,000 population; having an area of about 20 kanals. The hospital is sanctioned with 30 beds which almost remain occupied all through the year. All sorts of the basic facility like Lab tests, X-Rays, ECG, Ultrasound, Physiotherapy, Dental, Opthalmic, Immunization, Blood Storage Unit, RBSK, NCD and STAB Unit, etc. are available in the hospital with a good team of Doctors & Paramedics comprising of almost all the specialities required at Block Level. Approximately 500-600 patients are examined on an average daily & provided quality treatment including medicines, operations, deliveries, etc. All minor as well as major surgeries including Laprolization, NSV of Males, and Gynecological Surgeries, etc are being performed successfully in the hospital.
